Fuente Nueva is a hamlet of Orce in the Cañada de los Vélez, between the village and the boundary with the municipality of María, about eight kilometres from the province of Almería. It has no traditional street layout: its cave houses are scattered over steep ground.
The Fuente Nueva 3 and Venta Micena sites are very close, so it is a good place to take in the landscape of the first settlers. The silence and open horizons of the Altiplano complete the visit.
